1. Provide sufficient volume and adequate pressure of water.
2. Maintain quality of potable water delivered by the Ward Water Filtration Plant.
3. Provide an acceptable system of convenience for domestic and industry wastewater.

Services provided by division:

1. Perform new water and sewer service taps.
2. Crews are on call 24 hours a day to respond to any water or sewer emergency.
3. Utility improvement projects of the water distribution and wastewater collection system.

Projects:
In conjunction with Public Services Administration and the Central Engineering Department:

• Deep River Outfall Replacement Project
• Obsolete water and sewer improvement projects
• Miscellaneous repairs to existing sewer pipes.
• Repair and/or replace hydrants and valves.
• Perform preventative maintenance to sewer main pipes and outfall systems.
