1. The division functions to properly dispose of the solid waste for the City of High Point.
2. Handle the City of High Point yard waste needs.
3. Produces a saleable mulch and compost product.
4. Operates each facility in accordance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Rules and Regulations.

Services provided by division:
The landfill and compost facility hours of operation are as follows:

1. KERSEY VALLEY LANDFILL Monday thru Friday 7:30am-4:30pm and Saturday 7:30am-1:00pm, residential bag waste only.
2. INGLESIDE COMPOST FACILITY 9:00am-4:00pm Monday thru Friday and Saturday 9:00am-1:00pm.

Miscellaneous Information about division:
The Kersey Valley Landfill is located at 3748 East Kivett Drive. The Ingleside Compost Facility is located at 3001 Ingleside Drive.
