Our youth athletic programs are focused on the total development of the child. "We do not place emphasis on winning." Our mission at High Point Parks & Recreation is to provide a positive sports experience for children and their parents. Our program philosophy emphasizes spotsmanship, camaraderie, fun and safety.

Our league is guaranteed to provide you the competition that you have been looking for on the court. This league will help with skill development and prepare you to play as a member of the team. League is for ages 10-13. |
Mite & Midget Basketball Leagues - Morehead Recreation CenterMonday-Thursday; SaturdayFebruary 18, 2009 - May 28, 2009 6-9p.m. (Monday-Thursday); 9a.m.-1p.m. (Saturday) Fee:$40.00 per person Deadline for enrollment: 02/16/09 Mite Registration and Information Midget Registration & Information Mites, ages 8-10, and Midgets, ages 11-13, will play basketball in our gym. We may combine leagues to play other Centers as well for some away games, all in High Point. This is an instructional and competitive league for boys and girls. |

Mite and Midget Cheerleading is for you! Come on out and participate in our basketball league. You will learn the basics of cheerleading chants, cheers and moves. Cheerleaders must be ages 8-13. |
Tiny Tot Athletics - Southside Recreation CenterTuesday & Thursday9-10:30a.m. Introduce youth to sports designed just for our youngest athletes. We will play a variety of sports and games to improve hand-eye coordination and team building. Everyone plays and everybody wins. Program is for ages 3 & 4. |
