The Oak Hollow Marina opened to the public in 1972. It consists of a 1,500 acre park and 800 acre lake. In 1991 the lake became the City of High Point's primary water supply.
The Marina offers year round boating and fishing, sailing classes, sailboat rental, boat storage spaces, bank fishing, picnic shelter rental with electricity, restrooms, and grills. The Marina has bait, fishing supplies and snacks available for purchase. There is also a playground at the Marina and the North Overlook. Exclusive rental of Festival Park for private functions such as weddings, company picnics, concerts, etc.

| Night Fishing Thursday Until 10:00p.m. Oak Hollow Lake will be open for night fishing every Thursday starting April 2. Pack a picnic and bring the family for an evening of fishing and fun.

| Project WILD Workshop Saturday & Sunday January 17, 2009 January 18, 2009 9a.m.-4:30p.m. - Saturday; 1:30-5p.m. - Sunday This workshop is part of a program by the Youth Education Program. It is designed for formal and non-formal teachers and adults who supervise young people in Day Care, after school programs, recreation center personnel, home school educators and those who have youth in Scouting, church or civic groups. You must be pre-registered to attend. To register contact Vicky Fields at vicky.fields@highpointnc.gov or 883-3494. The workshop will be held at the Oak Hollow Marina classroom.
