Deep River Recreation Center consists of a 18' x 22' game room, 22' x 23' craft room, 46' x 35' large multipurpose room, 2 sets of restrooms and a regulation size gymnasium.
The surrounding park features 2 lighted baseball/softball fields with bleachers, 1 lighted baseball field with bleachers, 3 unlighted tennis courts, an outdoor basketball court, playground, restroom/concession building, picnic shelter, and unlighted multipurpose athletic field.
The Center offers a wide variety of recreation programs for all ages and abilities. Deep River Recreation Center is also available for the public to rent space for special occasions, Holidays and special events.
A grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony are currently being planned and those plans will be announced in the coming weeks.

| AHOY - Silver Strides Monday & Wednesday 9:30-11:a.m. Informational Poster Calling all Seniors! Beginning June 22 you can come out to enhance your fitness. Come and walk, jog or run. We will do 45 minutes of conditioning followed by a group exercise. Group exercise may consist of dance aerobics, traditional aerobics or chair aerobics. Bring a friend to walk with.

| Friday Night Live: Back to School Game Night Friday August 21, 2009 6:30-9p.m. Fee:$5.00 per person Deadline for enrollment: 08/14/09 Information & Registration It's that time again; school is back in session. But before you go, join us in a game night designed just for you. This program is for youth ages 12-16 to come out and play video games, board games, karaoke and more. This will be the first of many Friday Night Live programs for teens, so watch for them!

| Gym Jammin' Tuesday 10-11a.m. Information & Registration Calling all parents and childcare providers. Bring your children to Deep River so they have an opportunity to get some exercise and have fun at the same time. During their one hour session, they will do an organized activity and have free time in the gym. Some of the activities will be parachute play, tumbling and dance fitness. You must sign up prior to each session you plan to attend. Availability is based on a first come, first serve basis.

| Little Baller's Basketball Saturday September 5, 2009 - November 7, 2009 9a.m.-12p.m. Fee:$30.00 per person Deadline for enrollment: 08/24/09 Information & Registration Are your little ones ready to take the hoop? Register them today for this coed league for ages 3 and 4. They will learn the basic skills of basketball, shooting, passing, the court and dribbling. We also need volunteer coaches, so please let us know if you are interested. See you on the court!

Come out and show off your basketball skills. Upon opening, the Deep River Recreation Center will offer open gym activities. We will have sign in boards for pick up games and a running clock so everyone can play.

| Teen Time: Leadershape Monday-Friday 7:30a.m.-6p.m. Fee:$60.00 per person/per week Information & Registration The theme for this summer is "Leadershape". Youth in grades 6-10 will have the opportunity to participate in different leadership building activities and field trips. Campers will engage in community service projects, public speaking workshops, team building workshops and college campus tours. They will also have the opportunity to engage in the traditional field trips such as skating, swimming, bowling and more. The camp is broken into three two week sessions. Session 1: June 22-26, June 29-July 3; Session 2: July 13-17, July 20-24; Session 3: August 3-7, August 10-14. Registration fee does not include activity fees and campers are responsible for their own lunch. Register and pay now for a full two-week session and get a $10.00 discount; $110.00 for a 2-week session.

| Y.E.S. Summer Day Camp - Youth Exploring Summer Monday-Friday 7:30a.m.-6p.m. Fee:$60.00 per week, plus activity fees Registration Packet Deep River provides a fun and safe environment for elementary students to spend their summer. Participants are supervised as they participate in a variety of activities from group games, gym time, field trips, guest speakers, movies, dances, skits, education activities and much more. Two snacks are provided daily. Parents are responsible for lunch. Registration is done on a weekly basis so parents can choose particular weeks for their child to attend or they may sign up for the entire summer. Program is for rising K-5th graders. Program runs through the week of August 17.

| Young Rembrandts (evening session) Monday-Friday July 20, 2009 - July 24, 2009 6-7:30p.m. Fee:$40.00 per person Deadline for enrollment: 07/03/09 Information & Registration This pastel art camp focuses on three different artists. We will create an original pastel drawing to replicate a famous artist's masterpiece. We will draw a colorful goldfish bowl as Henri Matisse did in his "Goldfish" painting. We will recreate Vincent van Gogh's famous "Starry Night" complete with swirls throughout the sky. On our final day, we will create a powerful still life full of robust color as Paul Cezanne did often in his paintings. Each day will challenge us with the pastel media. No experience is necessary to participate. Wear a T-shirt or art smock and come prepared for a fun time. Class is for ages 6-12.

| Young Rembrandts (morning session) Monday-Friday July 27, 2009 - July 31, 2009 11a.m.-12:30p.m. Fee:$40.00 per person Deadline for enrollment: 07/03/09 Information & Registration Explore the mysterious world of Egypt. We will dig into how the ancient Egyptians lived and investigate decorative objects in the treasured tombs including sarcophagi, hieroglyphics and more. We will create drawings full of artifacts and Egyptian imagery using a variety of mediums including markers, color pencils, sharpies and more. Our masterpiece will be a beautiful Egyptian princess in chalk pastel. Class is for ages 6-12.
