Adult Athletics
The City of High Point Parks & Recreation Department sponsors team sport leagues for spring and fall adult softball and adult basketball, and men's flag football. We strongly believe our programs are ways for adults to maintain active lifestyles.
The department will accept a team registration form for complete team entries only. Teams will pay a team registration fee to the department that will cover the department's cost to include the team into the league. This fee does not include the cost of any player equipment or uniforms.

Adult Men's and Women's Basketball League - AthleticsTuesdayNovember 2, 2010 7p.m. Fee:$450.00 per team Deadline for enrollment: 12/09/10 An organizational meeting for adult Basketball will be held at the Parks & Recreation Administration Office at 136 Northpoint Avenue. League includes Open, Recreational, Church and Industrial teams. Teams will play a minimum 12-game schedule with a single elimination tournament. Trophies will be awarded to team regular season champion with 12 individuals, team regular season runner-up, team tournament champion with 12 individuals, team tournament runner-up. NFHS basketball rules will be followed with modifications. Deadline for entry is December 9. |

Balling 4 Hope - Allen Jay Recreation CenterSaturday & SundayNovember 13, 2010 - November 14, 2010 8a.m.-6p.m. Fee:$50.00 per team, $2.00 per person admission Informational Poster Team Roster Waiver Form We will be hosting a 2-day, single elimination basketball tournament as a fundraiser to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. If you have a group that plays basketball or if you just want to watch the games, you would be doing your part. Come out and enjoy the games and get some education on breast cancer. We will have tables set up with helpful information. |
