Mission Statement:  The City of High Point strives to provide passive and active recreation services, parks and facilities that enrich the lives of all residents and promote opportunities for healthy lifestyles.
Our Administration Office is located at 136 Northpoint Avenue.  Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, excluding Holidays.

  • Let's keep the learning going all summer!  Piedmont Environmental Center furnishes professional naturalists to lead environmental field trips and other outdoor learning events for Summer Camps, Daycares, Preschool Groups and others at a minimal cost of $3.50/child.  All of our classes focus on natural history or an environmental education subject that the group is interested in learning.  Groups can choose from 6 different lesson plans.  Please call 883.8531 to check date availability.
  • For anyone who joins the Oak Hollow Sailing Club, members will provide free Basic Sailing instruction on the water.  Family membership is $30 for one year.  Lessons are scheduled on Sunday, August 17.  No previous sailing experience is required.
