Welcome to the High Point Police Department's website. The men and women of the High Point Police Department are professionals dedicated to making High Point safe for everyone who lives, works or visits the city.
We have tried to make this site as interactive as possible: links to state and federal websites of interest have been provided, as well as links to Crimestoppers, on-line reports, applications and forms. We are particularly proud of P2C (which stands for Police to Citizens) where citizens can look up and print out a police report of an incident in which they were involved; and Crimemapping, which will map incidents anywhere in the City.
I have three Majors who oversee the direct operations of the police department.
Major Larry Casterline is responsible for Major Crime Deterrence and Prevention Division. The High Point Police Department divides the city into two geographical areas, north and south. Major Eddie McCluney is responsible for the North District, and Major Kenneth Shultz is responsible for the South District.
Thanks again for visiting our website. It is our duty and pleasure to protect and serve the citizens of North Carolina's International City, High Point, North Carolina. Click this link for an interview of the chief.
In an effort to keep our community informed, we have online databases like crimemapping to pinpoint incidents in High Point. CrimeMapping.com was developed by The Omega Group to help law enforcement agencies throughout North America provide the public with valuable information about recent crime activity in their neighborhood. Our goal is to reduce crime in your neighborhood by keeping you the citizen better informed. We at the High Point Police Department have learned from the success of our Drug Market Initiatives that community oriented policing combined with resourceful and alert community members is vital in fighting crime.
