The High Point Museum is an interactive museum housing the most comprehensive interpretation of High Point's history. Admission to the museum is always FREE. We do gladly accept donations.

Museum Hours:

Tuesday – Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sunday 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday
Mondays Closed

Historic Park Hours:

Strolling and Picnicking Daylight hours
Tours by costumed interpreters Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Sunday 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday

Closed Tuesday through Friday

Map and Driving Directions:

From I-85
Take HWY 311 north to College Drive. Right onto College Drive.
Go approximately 4 miles.
Right on Lexington Avenue.
Go 2 blocks.
Museum and Historic Park on left.

From I-40
Take HWY 68 south to Centennial Street.
Left on Centennial Street for 1 mile.
Left on Lexington Avenue for mile.
Museum and Historic Park are on the left.

Parking:

The museum has two parking lots. One is located in front of the museum on East Lexington Ave. The second is beside the Historical Park off McGuinn Drive. To access the lower lot, drive past the museum and take a left at the light at McGuinn Drive. First entrance on left is to the lot.

Accessibility:

The museum is wheelchair accessible.
Structures in the historic park are partially accessible.
