The museum puts on various kinds of activities year round ranging from hands-on activities in the park to fundraisers to members-only events.

Even though the City of High Point does cover a portion of the museum's general operating budget every year, money from fundraisers helps pay for everything from hands-on activities to free tours for area school children.
Mission Statement
The High Point Museum collects, preserves and interprets the history
of greater High Point to develop, encourage and foster a shared understanding
and appreciation of our community through a knowledge of its past.
