Medical Waste

Needles & syringes should NOT be placed in the garbage or recycling carts.  Customers should place all needles and syringes in a Sharps puncture-proof container, which is available at most pharmacies. Containers other than Sharps will not be collected.  When the container is full, call Customer Service at 883-3111 for a FREE pick-up and the City will safely dispose of these items, while protecting our employees.
