Council Meetings
High Point City Council consists of a representative from each of six wards, the Mayor and two other members that are elected "at-large."
City Council meets in official session the first and third Monday of every month at 4:45 p.m. , in Council Chambers on the third floor of the Municipal Building, 211 South Hamilton Street. On the Thursday after each Monday meeting, a Council session is held at 9 a.m. The public is encouraged to attend these meetings and to participate. If you would like to address Council, call the City Clerk, (336)883-3536, so that she can include you on the agenda.
